Jim Billingsley’s Tribute Page

Thanks To Everyone!

Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you

I was so excited and thrilled to hear from all of you.

To My Former Students:

It was wonderful to see all of your names and recall those great memories with you.  I will always treasure those memories and certainly remember you!  Thank-you for remembering me also.

To My Friends:

Thanks to all of you for participating in this blog and for your friendship during all these years.  You’ve certainly given me many happy times and been great friends to have in good times and bad.

To My Wonderful Family:

Life is precious…it isn’t about any one person’s success and talents.  It’s about a group of people, our family, making the whole as good as it can be.  Our loving one another is living proof of that.  Thank you all for your kindness to me and your love.

I am truly blessed because of ALL of you.

Jim (AKA Mr. B.)

  1. I am truly blessed because of you Mr. B! Thank you! It was an honor to be in the Massillon Tiger Swing Band under your direction!

  2. Mr. B,
I went to the Miami University Wind Ensemble concert last week specifiaclly to hear “George Washington Bridge”. We palyed it as a contest piece my Sr year @ Oberlin (1985!) It was as thrilling as I remembered it. Although Miami probably didn’t do as good a rendition as we did! Yesterday in a seminar, the leader asked us to write down the names of our “heros” you were #2 on my list, right behind my dad. Thanks again for all you’ve done for all of us.
    All the Best, Hug Doover
